NFL star Patrick Mahomes’ younger brother, Jackson Wayne Mahomes, has been sentenced to six months of unsupervised probation. The 23-year-old entered a no-contest plea to a charge of simple battery, according to online court documents. This development comes after prosecutors decided to drop three sexual battery charges, a decision influenced by the restaurant owner’s lack of cooperation with the case, as reported by Page Six.

The case stemmed from an incident where Jackson Mahomes was captured on video forcibly kissing the owner of the Aspen Restaurant & Lounge, Aspen Vaughn, who identified herself as the woman in the footage. Vaughn has stated that Mahomes acted without her consent and that she had communicated her objections to him at the time of the incident.

Jackson Mahomes’ attorney, Brandan Davies, communicated to CNN that Mahomes is grateful for the support from his family and friends throughout the past year. Davies mentioned that Mahomes desired to conclude the case and proceed with his life, affirming that the matter is now resolved and no further statements will be issued regarding the case.
