COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Division of Police is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a male potentially involved in a homicide that occurred on September 29, 2023. Responding to a shooting report at around 8:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the River Pointe Apartments on Avonia Drive.
Upon arrival, they found an individual who had sustained gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately taken to OhioHealth Doctors Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. The police are urging anyone with information about the incident or the individual in question to come forward to aid in the ongoing investigation.
