HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — The streets of Hackettstown are set to come alive with the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day on March 10 at 3:30 pm. This annual celebration, a cornerstone of Irish-American tradition in the area, attracts over 14,000 visitors, making it one of Hackettstown’s largest gatherings.
Spectators of all ages will gather along Main Street, eagerly watching from curbsides, store windows, and porches as the parade unfolds. Led by the Grand Marshal, the procession will feature an array of participants that capture the essence of Irish culture and community spirit. Attendees can look forward to performances by Irish dance groups, bands, bagpipers, and drummers, alongside contributions from Centenary University clubs, local fire departments, rescue squads, and community bands.
The parade is known for its inclusivity, extending a warm invitation to pets and their owners. Sponsored by Doggie Styleashes, a special pet costume contest will add an extra layer of charm to the festivities, with pets parading in St. Patrick and Irish Heritage costumes following the judging.
