Cash Reward Offered for Information on Hyattsville Sexual Assault Suspects

HYATTSVILLE, MD — The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Sexual Assault Section is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a sexual assault case in Hyattsville. Surveillance footage has been released, showing the suspects following the victim before assaulting her. A cash reward is available for information leading to their arrest and indictment.

The incident occurred in the 6000 block of Ager Road around 5:00 pm on March 4. According to the police, the two unknown individuals followed the victim, then forcibly took her to a nearby wooded area where they assaulted her at knifepoint. The surveillance video captures the suspects fleeing the scene immediately after the attack.

Police reports currently indicate that there have been no similar incidents in the area. The Prince George’s County Police Department is urging anyone with information about the suspects or the assault to come forward to aid in their apprehension and help ensure community safety.
