PHILADELPHIA, PA – Northeast Philadelphia Police Department detectives are working to identify a vehicle and its occupants involved in a series of burglaries targeting elderly residents in the Northeast. The vehicle in question was used in a burglary within the 8th district, where elderly individuals were specifically targeted.
The suspects, described as white males wearing reflective vests, gained entry into homes by claiming they could offer assistance with lowering water bills. A notable incident occurred on February 14, when a .38 caliber Smith & Wesson revolver was stolen from a victim’s residence. Currently, no active warrants have been issued in relation to these crimes.
Authorities urge anyone who locates the vehicle to contact the police immediately. The public is advised not to approach the suspects and instead, contact 911 if they are spotted.
