Baltimore, MD – Authorities are currently investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred on February 29 which resulted in multiple victims, including one fatality.
The first incident was reported in the Central District, where officers on patrol near the 1400 block of East Fayette Street heard gunshots around 6:34 p.m. A prompt search of the vicinity led to the discovery of two males, aged 19 and 44, suffering from multiple gunshot injuries. Emergency medical services were immediately called to the scene, and the victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Central District Shooting detectives have taken over the investigation.
In a separate incident in the Southwest District, police were called to the 100 block of South Stockton Street at approximately 5:10 p.m., following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found an unidentified male with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was quickly taken to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Homicide detectives are now leading the inquiry into this death.
