In Martin County, FL, Jannier Alexander Pina Barboza became the 140th individual this year to be charged with driving without a license. Barboza was apprehended after he was caught driving over 70 miles per hour in a 45 MPH zone, dangerously close to children waiting for a school bus on US 1.
The 26-year-old was stopped by deputies this morning and could only provide a notice to appear issued by the Department of Homeland Security as identification. Barboza admitted to not possessing a Florida Driver License, stating he has never had one.
This incident highlights a growing concern in Martin County, as Barboza is among 140 individuals charged with driving without a license in less than two months.
