Washington, DC – Kim Eugene Decker II, a 42-year-old man from Genesee, Pennsylvania, has been arrested on charges related to his involvement in the U.S. Capitol breach on January 6, 2021. The incident disrupted a Congressional session aimed at certifying the 2020 presidential election results. Decker was apprehended on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, and appeared in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania following his arrest. Court documents allege that Decker was captured on open-source images and video footage on the Capitol’s east side, where he participated in breaching the bike rack barriers meant to secure the area. Identified by his white hat, black jacket, and dual-flag pole, Decker was reportedly at the forefront of the mob that pushed past Capitol Police to enter the restricted premises.
