New York, NY – Jesus Garcia-Desiderio, a 46-year-old man from the Bronx, has died following an assault that occurred in the early hours of Saturday, February 17. The incident took place in front of 1206 Stratford Avenue, within the 43rd Precinct’s jurisdiction.
Responding to a 911 call at approximately 4:41 AM, police arrived at the scene and were informed that the victim had already been transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in critical condition. Garcia-Desiderio succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, February 20.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the assault. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident remains active and ongoing.
