Dispute Leads to Gunfire in Baltimore

Baltimore, MD – A verbal altercation lead to the shooting of a man in Eastern Baltimore yesterday afternoon.

Around 4:06 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of Sheldon Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, a 41-year-old man was discovered with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

The initial investigation into the incident has revealed that the shooting stemmed from a verbal altercation between the victim and an acquaintance, which escalated, resulting in the victim being shot. Eastern District Shooting detectives have since taken over the case, diligently working to piece together the events that led to this violent act.
