Baltimore Shooting Leads to Multiple Attempted Murder Charges

Baltimore, MD – Baltimore’s Warrant Apprehension Task Force apprehended 41-year-old Terrance Hazelwood on Sunday in connection with a shooting incident that took place on Friday in the 1300 block of Laurens Street, Western District. Hazelwood is accused of shooting a 31-year-old male and firing at police officers who arrived at the scene.

Following his arrest, Hazelwood was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility. There, he was charged with multiple counts of attempted first-degree murder among other charges, reflecting the seriousness of his alleged actions.

The initial incident, which led to Hazelwood’s arrest, occurred on Friday night around 8:54 PM. Western District patrol officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of North Carey Street following reports of a shooting. They discovered the victim with a gunshot wound; fortunately, the injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening after the victim was rushed to a local hospital.
