Baltimore, MD – A 42-year-old woman was wounded in a shooting incident that led to a vehicle crash yesterday morning in the Northeast District of Baltimore. At approximately 7:46 a.m., patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 4500 block of Parkmont Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The woman was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where her injuries were deemed non-life-threatening. The initial investigation suggests the victim was trying to escape from an armed assailant when she was shot, leading to her vehicle overturning.
