TRENTON, NJ – The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office has launched an investigation into a fatal crash that occurred early Monday morning in Winslow Township, involving a Monroe Township Police Department officer.
During an attempted vehicle stop by an on-duty officer from the Monroe Township Police Department, a fatal crash occurred on East Fleming Pike in Winslow Township. The incident took place at around 4 AM, shortly after the officer tried to stop a vehicle driven by an adult male, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identities of both the officer and the deceased have not been disclosed.
