Brooklyn, NY – A brave elderly woman’s quick reaction foiled an attempted robbery in Brooklyn, leaving her unharmed.
On Friday, just before 5:50 PM, a 69-year-old woman was targeted in an attempted robbery as she was entering a business at 1420 Fulton Street. An assailant grabbed her jacket and pressed an unknown object against her, demanding her possessions. However, her immediate response to yell for help scared off the attacker, who then fled the scene on foot heading west on Fulton Street.
The suspect, a male around 6’0″ tall with a dark complexion, remains at large. Authorities are actively seeking any information leading to the identification and apprehension of the individual involved in this distressing incident.
