Queens, NY – A violent assault took place at the Queens Plaza subway station early on Saturday, February 17, leaving a 31-year-old man with severe injuries.

At approximately 12:54 AM, the victim was attacked by an unidentified man wielding a metal pipe, resulting in multiple blows to the head.

The assailant described as a male with a dark complexion, aged 40 to 50, about 5’9″ tall with a medium build and a beard, fled the scene on foot immediately after the attack. He was last seen wearing a skull cap, gray hooded jacket, dark gray jeans, and tan work boots.

Emergency services responded, and the victim was transported to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition, suffering from head lacerations.
