Peddler's Village Announces Return of Popular "Peeps in the Village"

Lahaska, PA – Peddler’s Village is gearing up to host its fifth annual “Peeps in the Village” event, a colorful and creative celebration of spring, starting March 11, 2024. The event will showcase inventive marshmallow creations and is open to the public for viewing and participation.

This year’s competition, running from March 11 through April 14, will display a variety of handmade sculptures, dioramas, and wall art crafted from Peeps marshmallow candies. Participants have until March 1 to register their entries for a chance to win cash prizes, with submissions due by March 10 at the Visitor & Event Center.

The event, free to all visitors, will allow guests to vote for their favorite creations using paper ballots or through the Peddler’s Village mobile app until March 31. Last year, the event attracted over 20,000 visitors, highlighting its growing popularity.

In addition to the Peeps display, Peddler’s Village offers a range of spring activities.

Notable events include a Peeps-Tacular Family Brunch on April 14, an old-fashioned egg hunt, Easter dining, and the introduction of the Best of the Nest Birdhouse Competition and Display in partnership with the Bucks County AIA and the Bucks County Audubon Society at Honey Hollow.

The Golden Plough Inn, located within Peddler’s Village, is offering a special Peeps in the Village package for guests staying between March 11 and April 14.

Peddler’s Village continues to be a prime destination in Bucks County for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Established in 1962 by Earl and Sheila Jamison, the village has become a beloved attraction, drawing more than two million visitors annually to its 42-acre site, featuring over 60 retail shops, restaurants, and the Giggleberry Fair family fun center.
