A 16-year-old male has been arrested and charged with Murder, Attempted Murder (5 Counts), and Criminal Possession of a Weapon (1 Count). The arrest follows an incident on Monday, February 12, 2024, at approximately 4:47 PM, where two unidentified male individuals discharged firearms on the northbound “4” platform of the Mount Eden train station, striking six victims.
The suspects then fled the scene on foot toward Featherbed Lane.
Gunfire erupted Monday night inside a New York City Train Station.
At around 4:47 PM, on the northbound platform of the “4” train, two male suspects brandished firearms and fired multiple shots, injuring six individuals. Following the attack, the assailants escaped on foot, heading north on Jerome Avenue towards Featherbed Lane.

The first suspect is described as a male in his 20s with a light complexion, last seen wearing a black jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, blue ripped jeans, and white/red Air Jordan sneakers.
The second suspect, also in his 20s but with a dark complexion, was wearing a black Northface jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, dark pants, and black/yellow Air Jordan sneakers.
