Suffolk County, NY – In a significant blow to gang activity in Suffolk County, Acting Commissioner Robert Waring, alongside Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney and law enforcement partners, announced the arrest of more than two dozen members and associates of the “Bloodhound Brim” gang.
The arrests stem from a series of violent crimes dating back to 2021, including 18 shootings and three robberies. Throughout the investigation, law enforcement successfully recovered 12 loaded handguns linked to these criminal acts. Moreover, the indictment includes charges of conspiracy to commit murder relating to the death of Kimberly Midgette in Hempstead.
The Suffolk County Police Department (SCPD) emphasized its ongoing commitment to eradicating gangs and their illegal undertakings from the area.
