Clarkstown, NY – Chief Wanamaker of the Clarkstown Police Department celebrated the outstanding contribution of Auxiliary Captain Darryl Draper, who has exceeded 10,000 volunteer service hours to the Town of Clarkstown.
Auxiliary Capt. Draper’s journey with the Clarkstown Auxiliary Police began in 1998 as an Auxiliary Police Officer. Through his commitment and dedication, he rose through the ranks, achieving the position of Auxiliary Captain in 2012. His 26 years of service have been marked by a profound dedication to the Clarkstown Auxiliary Police and the residents of Clarkstown.
The Clarkstown Auxiliary Police Officers are committed volunteers from the community who provide critical support to the Department. These officers serve in a professional and paramilitary organization, playing a vital role in traffic regulation and crowd control during community and school events.
