The New York City Police Department is calling for public assistance to identify two individuals connected to a sequence of robberies that transpired in the vicinities of the 60 and 62 Precincts in Brooklyn. These incidents occurred on Monday, January 29, 2024, involving two male suspects riding kick scooters and engaging in aggressive attempts to rob their victims.

The assailants, however, did not succeed in taking any property and subsequently fled eastbound on 78 Street without causing any injuries to the victim.

Almost simultaneously, at 12:52 AM, another attempt was made by the same suspects near 19 Avenue and 79 Street. This time, they displayed a knife to a 33-year-old male and demanded money. Like the first incident, they fled without stealing any property, and the victim was left unharmed.

The third occurrence was slightly different; it took place at about 1:20 AM in front of 2125 West 13 Street. The suspects approached a 39-year-old male, brandished a knife, and demanded his cellphone. A physical altercation ensued, during which the victim was slashed in the hand. The attackers managed to forcibly take two iPhones before fleeing northbound on West 13 Street. The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.

The suspects are described as males with a dark complexion, last seen wearing all black clothing, and one of them carried a backpack. The police urge anyone with information regarding these incidents or the identities of the individuals involved to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
