The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 5400 block of Youngridge Drive. Authorities were alerted to the incident at 4:32 p.m., following a call to County 9-1-1 about a shooting.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered an adult female victim with multiple gunshot wounds inside her apartment. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Homicide detectives are now leading the investigation into the shooting.
