WASHINGTON, D.C. — A violent incident in Northeast Washington, D.C., on Monday night resulted in three people being hospitalized following a shooting.

The D.C. Metro Police Department received a distress call at 9:32 p.m., reporting the occurrence in the 4500 block of Quarles Street.

The victims, two men, and a woman sustained gunshot wounds under circumstances that are yet to be fully disclosed. Despite the severity of the situation, it was confirmed that all three were conscious and breathing as they were transported to local hospitals. The condition of their injuries remains unclear as medical assessments continue.
