DUNN, NC – On Sunday, at around 2:00 p.m., Brandon Giles was shot at his residence located at 709 North Ellis Avenue, Dunn.
Dunn Emergency Services and police officers found Mr. Giles in his driveway, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate care, he succumbed to his injuries later that afternoon.
During the investigation, Dunn Police Department Investigators identified Cornelius Leonard Webb as the shooter.
Webb arrived at the scene in a red four-door sedan, driven by an unidentified male. The police have issued an arrest warrant for Cornelius Webb on charges of First Degree Murder and Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder.
Webb is considered armed and dangerous, and the public is asked not to approach him but to call 911 if they have any information on his whereabouts. The Dunn Police Department is also seeking help in identifying the driver of the red vehicle. A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to felony arrests.
