ORANGE COUNTY, NY – Antonio Perez-Molina, a 42-year-old from Otisville, pled guilty to operating as a major trafficker, announced Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler.

The plea, entered on Friday, came during a jury trial and could result in up to 18 years to life in prison, with sentencing scheduled for March 18.

This case is part of a broader drug sale and possession operation. On August 18, 2021, a joint operation titled “Operation Off the Brick” led to the seizure of over 1,100 grams of cocaine, firearms, and $70,000.

The operation involved multiple law enforcement agencies, including the New York State Police VGNET and the Connecticut State Police.

Perez-Molina admitted to leading a controlled substance organization involved in significant cocaine sales. District Attorney Hoovler emphasized the risk posed by major traffickers to community safety. Assistant District Attorney Alexis Gregory and Senior Assistant District Attorney Christopher Kelly are prosecuting the case.
