POCONO TOWNSHIP, PA – The Pocono Township Police Department, with assistance from the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department, arrested Isaac O. Oropeza on Saturday.
The arrest follows a domestic dispute on January 8, where Oropeza engaged in a physical altercation while driving the victim’s vehicle on Route 611 towards Mount Pocono.
During the dispute, Oropeza allegedly choked the victim and refused her requests to stop the vehicle, which eventually became stuck in snow in Mount Pocono.
Oropeza faces charges including strangulation, simple assault, reckless endangerment, unauthorized use of an automobile, and other offenses.
