PITTSBURGH, PA – On Saturday, The Pittsburgh Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Glenn Smith, a 38-year-old man from Duquesne. Smith, a fugitive since July 2023, faced two warrants for bond violations issued by Judge Evashavik-DiLucente.
These warrants were related to cases involving criminal trespass, aggravated assault, robbery, and firearms violations. Additionally, Smith had two warrants from family court for failure to appear.
Earlier this week, detectives gathered information that Smith was residing with his girlfriend in McKeesport on Walnut Street.
Upon arriving at the location, detectives interacted with a woman who initially denied Smith’s presence. However, she later admitted that Smith was inside.
Despite Smith’s refusal to respond to verbal contact, the use of K9 Woody, who barked towards the second floor, led to Smith’s appearance and subsequent surrender without incident. Smith was then transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
