Buffalo Teenager Charged with Second-Degree Murder

BUFFALO, NY – Thierry Bikorimana, a 19-year-old from Buffalo, was arraigned before State Supreme Court Justice Paul B. Wojtaszek.

He faces charges of Murder in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, and three counts of Petit Larceny.

Allegedly, on December 10, 2023, Bikorimana shot 44-year-old Demarkus Hodge in a residence on Grider Street, Buffalo.

Following the homicide, Bikorimana is accused of stealing the victim’s television, a BB gun, and his vehicle. The victim was found deceased in his basement.

Bikorimana, held without bail, is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on February 27. If convicted, he faces 25 years to life in prison.
