UPLAND, PA – A recent incident in Upland Borough has led to an ongoing harassment investigation. On Friday, at 10:21 am, the Upland Borough Police Department was dispatched to a residence on the 3400 block of Vista Lane, following a report of a female resident being shot.
Upon arrival, officers made entry and determined that the report was a hoax.
The investigation identified the caller as a person of interest in a case of continued harassment against the residents of the home.
Detective Carl White has been assigned to locate the individual responsible. The Police Department confirmed that the incident posed no danger to the public and is considered an isolated event.
The Upland Borough Police Depndartment is actively working on the case and asks anyone with information to come forward.
