GLEN BURNIE, MD – On Tuesday, at approximately 6:00 PM, officers from the Northern District were dispatched to a reported attempted robbery at the Walmart located at 6721 Chesapeake Center Drive.
The suspects, a male and a female, were seen stealing items from the store.
As they attempted to leave, an employee confronted them, resulting in the male suspect assaulting the employee and attempting to seize their phone.
The employee sustained minor injuries. The suspects, described as a black male and a black female, both in their mid-twenties, fled in a black Kia with the stolen goods.
