Broad Daylight Shooting in Brooklyn Leaves One Man Dead

BROOKLYN, NY – A 36-year-old man was fatally shot following a verbal dispute on Monday, January 22, near Ralph and Sutter Avenues in Brownsville.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:25 a.m. Officers responded to a 911 call and found the victim with a bullet wound to his abdomen.

The victim was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending family notification. The suspect remains unidentified, and no arrests have been made.
