BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police made an arrest in a stolen vehicle case yesterday, thanks to the aid of technology and coordinated efforts. Central District officers received an alert from a license plate reader (LPR) regarding a vehicle reported stolen on Friday.

With the assistance of the Baltimore Community Intelligence Center (BCIC), officers successfully located and tracked the vehicle. They responded to the 1600 block of E. Eager Street, where an 18-year-old male, identified as the driver, was arrested in connection with the stolen vehicle.

The suspect has been transported to the Central District station for further processing. Details on charges or subsequent legal proceedings have not been disclosed at this time. The incident highlights the effectiveness of LPR technology and collaborative police work in addressing vehicle thefts.
