WASHINGTON, D.C. – The D.C. Metro Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect responsible for a shocking arson attack in Northwest Washington, D.C.
This distressing incident occurred yesterday afternoon, around 3:05 p.m., at the intersection of North Capitol Street and P Street. According to reports, the suspect doused a man with a flammable liquid and then set him on fire before fleeing the scene. The victim, suffering serious injuries, was quickly transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment.
In an effort to apprehend the perpetrator, detectives from the MPD’s Criminal Investigations Division have released surveillance footage of the suspect. The MPD is appealing to anyone who can identify the suspect or provide any information about the incident to come forward.
