NYC Road Rage Attack Leads to Murder Charges

BRONX, NY – In a recent road rage incident, Lillibeth Vasquez, a 28-year-old from Allentown, Pennsylvania, has been indicted for Murder and Manslaughter.

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark detailed the events leading to the death of a 23-year-old moped driver, emphasizing the grave consequences of reckless driving.

On November 25, 2023, around 2:20 p.m., Vasquez allegedly engaged in a high-speed pursuit of the victim, Robert Jiminez, on Southern Boulevard.

After running red lights and driving the wrong way down a one-way street, she collided with Jiminez’s moped, resulting in his death. The collision occurred near Intervale Avenue and Fox Street.

Vasquez faces second-degree Murder and first-degree Manslaughter charges. She remains in custody, with her next court appearance scheduled for March 21.
