GERMANTOWN, MD – Jose Antonio Garcia, 45, of Germantown, has been charged following a fatal two-car collision on October 15, 2022.
The incident occurred on Frederick Road at Plummer Drive.
Garcia, driving a blue 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee, collided with a Silver 2006 Ford F250 while turning from northbound Frederick Road to westbound Plummer Drive.
The passenger of the Jeep, 30-year-old Jose Vidal Urias Beltran, also of Germantown, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Garcia was arrested on December 23, 2023, on charges including manslaughter, negligent homicide, and traffic-related offenses. He is currently held without bond.
