WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – Wall Township Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Marconi Road near Bay Place at 2:16 AM today. A caller reported a red Honda Accord with occupants running up to a house with multiple cars in the driveway. The vehicle departed before officers arrived.
Upon arrival, police confirmed with the homeowner that no visitors were expected, and a check revealed no theft or damage to the parked cars.
During the area check, officers spotted a silver car, possibly a BMW, speeding west on Belmar Boulevard. Efforts to stop the vehicle were unsuccessful as the driver sped up, clearly attempting to evade police. The car was last seen heading west on Belmar Boulevard near Westminster Lane.
