Man Arrested for Felton Bar Parking Lot Shooting

FELTON, DE – Terry Bratton, a 66-year-old man from Milton, Delaware, was arrested by Delaware State Police for a shooting that occurred last Sunday morning in Felton.

The incident took place on Sunday, at 1:32 a.m. at Green Stinger Sports Bar, located at 9996 South Dupont Highway.

Police responded to reports of a shooting in the bar’s parking lot. Upon arrival, Bratton was found in the parking lot armed with a gun and was taken into custody without incident. A 28-year-old man from Lincoln, Delaware, was being treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound to his arm.

Investigations revealed that Bratton was involved in an argument inside the bar, which escalated in the parking lot. Bratton reportedly pulled a gun and shot the victim during the altercation.

Bratton faces charges including Assault 1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Reckless Endangering 1st Degree – 6 counts, Terroristic Threatening – 4 counts, and Possession of a Firearm While Under the Influence. He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 7 and is currently held at Sussex Correctional Institution on a $161,000 secured bond.
