The San Antonio Police Department has arrested a father-son duo in connection with the murders of 18-year-old Savanah Nicole Soto, who was pregnant, and her boyfriend, 22-year-old Matthew Guerra. The victims were reported missing last month and later found dead in a car.Christopher Preciado, 19, faces charges of capital murder, while his father, Ramon Preciado, 53, has been charged with abuse of a corpse. SAPD Sgt. Washington Moscoso stated that Christopher was responsible for the killings and his father assisted in concealing the car and the victims’ bodies.Surveillance footage previously released by the SAPD showed two individuals, now identified as Christopher and Ramon Preciado, involved in the case. The footage captured Christopher driving the couple’s gray Kia sedan and meeting with his father, who was in a dark-colored Chevy Silverado, in a parking lot near where Soto and Guerra’s bodies were discovered on December 26 with gunshot wounds to the head.A crucial piece of evidence in the case was the recovery of Soto’s cellphone from the scene, which significantly aided in the arrests.
