WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – The Westchester County District Attorney, Miriam E. Rocah, and Sleepy Hollow Police Chief, Anthony Bueti, announced the arraignment of 38-year-old Ruben Santiago on Friday.

Santiago faces multiple charges, including Attempted Murder, following the January 2 shooting of his ex-girlfriend in Sleepy Hollow.

Santiago allegedly breached a protective order and entered the victim’s home, using a .38 caliber revolver to shoot her.

The victim is currently receiving medical care for neck and hand wounds. A collaborative effort by local and federal authorities led to Santiago’s arrest.
