New Windsor Men Arrested in Narcotics and Weapons Case

NEW WINDSOR, NY – Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler and Town of New Windsor Police Chief Daniel Valeri announced the arrests of Steven Gordon, 58, and John Maines, 66, following a ten-month narcotics investigation.

The operation, involving multiple law enforcement agencies, culminated in a raid on a New Windsor residence.

Police recovered two loaded handguns, an assault-style rifle, crack cocaine, fentanyl, scales, packaging materials, and nearly $20,000.

Gordon and Maines face narcotics and weapons charges and are held in Orange County Jail, Gordon without bail and Maines with bail.

DA Hoovler praised the collaborative efforts of the agencies involved in disrupting narcotics trafficking.
