Gloucester Township Police Respond to House Fire in Glen Oaks Development

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – On Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at around 6:45 PM, Gloucester Township Police, along with Gloucester Twp. Squad 88, Chews Landing Fire Department, and various area fire departments, were dispatched to Hartford Drive in the Glen Oaks Development following a report of a house fire.

Upon arrival, emergency services found the fire at a vacant house that was under renovation. The blaze was quickly brought under control. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the incident.

The investigation into the cause of the fire was conducted by the Camden County Fire Marshall. This prompt response and effective coordination among the different emergency services helped in averting potential injuries and further damage to the property. The situation in the Glen Oaks Development remains under close observation following the incident.
