Fort Washington Man Charged in Disappearance and Murder of Friend

FORT WASHINGTON, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department has charged Parrish Goode, 23, of Fort Washington, with the murder of his friend, 20-year-old Damion Myers, who was reported missing last April.

The case began on April 15, 2023, when police were called to a residence on Nevin Lane in Fort Washington concerning a missing person report. Family members reported they had not seen or heard from Myers since April 14, 2023, after he left to get a ride from his friend, Goode. Initially treated as a missing person case, detectives later uncovered evidence suggesting Myers had been fatally shot inside Goode’s car. Despite extensive searches over months, Myers’ remains have yet to be found.

Following a comprehensive investigation, detectives issued an arrest warrant for Goode on December 21, 2023. He was apprehended on December 27, 2023. During his arrest, Goode confessed to shooting Myers and disposing of his body in the Fort Washington area. The motive behind the shooting is still being investigated.

Goode faces charges of first and second degree murder, among other related charges. He is currently held by the Department of Corrections under no-bond status. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are seeking further information from the public.
