BRONX, NY – On Monday, January 1, at around 3:00 PM, a shooting occurred at the intersection of East 194th Street and Bainbridge Avenue. Two unidentified assailants displayed firearms and opened fire, hitting two men.
A 21-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to his left leg, while a 22-year-old male was shot in the right foot. The first victim was taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital by EMS, and the second was transported there by private means. Both are in stable condition.
Following the shooting, the suspects fled westbound on East 194th Street and were last observed entering the Kingsbridge Road subway station on foot. The police are actively investigating the incident and searching for the perpetrators.
