WASHINGTON, DC – The Metropolitan Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit is actively seeking a suspect in connection with a sexual abuse incident that occurred in Northeast Washington, D.C.
The event unfolded in the early morning of December 31st, around 3:30 a.m. According to the police report, the suspect forcibly pushed a victim to the ground on the 700 block of 6th Street, Northeast, with the intention of committing sexual abuse.
Authorities have provided a detailed description of the suspect. He is identified as a Black male in his thirties, about 5’10” tall, and weighing between 180-220 pounds. The suspect is noted to have short hair, a clean-shaven appearance, and a noticeable large mole on his face. At the time of the incident, he was wearing dark clothing.
In a significant development, the suspect was captured on surveillance cameras.
