NEW YORK, NY – Ukraine suffered one of its largest attacks in the ongoing conflict, with nearly 160 missiles and drones targeted at various locations across the country. Ukrainian defense forces successfully intercepted most of these threats.

The assault led to significant civilian and infrastructural damage. Reports confirmed over 100 private houses and 45 multi-story buildings were either destroyed or damaged. Educational institutions, two churches, healthcare facilities including a hospital and a maternity ward, along with numerous commercial and storage buildings, were also affected.

The human toll of the attack is severe, with at least 30 people reported dead and condolences extended to their families. Additionally, over 150 individuals sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical attention.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of global response to what he referred to as terror. He acknowledged the support received from various world leaders, particularly those who assisted in enhancing Ukraine’s air defense capabilities.

Zelenskyy highlighted the effective performance of Ukraine’s air defense forces during this attack and stated the country’s intention to further strengthen its air defense system. He expressed a determined stance to counter the aggression and direct the conflict back towards Russia.
