FREDERICK, MD – Today marks the second anniversary of the passing of Officer Greg Santangelo, a respected member of the Frederick Police Department. Officer Santangelo’s dedication to law enforcement and his community is fondly remembered and honored by his colleagues.
Graduating from the police academy in 2013, Officer Santangelo initially served in Patrol Squad A until 2015. He then advanced to the training unit, where he significantly influenced the department as the lead academy instructor. His legacy includes his contribution to eight entry-level academies, various lateral academies, and a comparative compliance course.
