FORKED RIVER, NJ — Toni, a 3½-year-old cat, seeks a new home after her previous owner moved and could not take her. Currently residing at the Associated Humane Popcorn Park Shelter in Forked River, New Jersey, Toni has been noted for her sociable nature and desire for human companionship.
Despite spending part of her day in a cage, Toni spends much of her time in the shelter’s kitchen, interacting with people and displaying kitten-like playfulness. Shelter staff describe her as full of personality, silly, goofy, and friendly.

Toni has lived as an only pet and is not accustomed to other cats. While she does not have a strong dislike for them, she prefers not to be in the free-roaming area with many other cats. The shelter suggests she could adapt to a home with a non-confrontational cat.
Toni has been waiting for a long time to find a new home. Interested individuals can contact the shelter at 609-693-1900 or email office@ahsppz.org for an application and to arrange a meeting with Toni. The shelter hopes to find her a loving home in time for the holidays.
