QUEENS, NY – Following an ongoing investigation, Kevin Ogara, a 58-year-old male from Queens, has been arrested and charged with two counts of manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide.

The arrest was made on Friday.

The charges stem from an incident on Friday, November 3, when EMS responded to a 911 call about a male who fell down stairs at 28-04 44 Street.

The 60-year-old male victim, later identified as Rene Montalvo Peredo, was transported to Mount Sinai Queens Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased on November 7.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner later deemed the incident a homicide.
