NEWARK, NJ – Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, along with Chief Detectives Robert McNally and Rockway Township Police Chief Martin McParland Jr., have announced the sentencing of Nathaniel G. Yanez, a 23-year-old resident of Newark, previously from Dover, NJ.
On December 8, Yanez received a 12-year sentence in New Jersey State Prison, with 85% parole ineligibility under the No Early Release Act.
Additionally, Yanez must register under Megan’s Law and will be under Parole Supervision for Life, with no contact allowed with the three victims.
Yanez had pleaded guilty to three counts of second-degree Sexual Assault and one count of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child on April 27.
The charges arise from incidents involving two victims at the Hilton Garden Inn in Rockaway, New Jersey, a residence in Dover, and another victim identified from videos on Yanez’s phone. He had been detained at the Morris County Correctional Facility since his arrest in March 2022.
