SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police Department’s 3rd District Patrol officers are investigating a second-degree assault at a Chipotle restaurant, located on the 900 block of Ellsworth Drive in Silver Spring. The incident occurred on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Police have released surveillance footage and are seeking public assistance to identify the two female suspects involved.
The assault took place around 10 PM, when the suspects entered the Chipotle. Following an argument with an employee, one suspect threw food, and subsequently, both suspects threw a chair at the employee before leaving the location.
Descriptions of the suspects from surveillance footage have been released by the officers. The first suspect is a Black female, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue shorts, and orange slippers. The second suspect is also a Black female, with long black hair, dressed in a long white coat, leggings, and brown boots.
