WILLIAMSPORT, PA – A fatal shooting incident occurred at the 1000 Block of Memorial Ave in Williamsport.
The Williamsport Police Department reported that on Saturday, at approximately 3:35 am, officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, law enforcement found an unresponsive adult male in the street, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate efforts by officers and EMS, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing, and the Williamsport Police Department asks anyone with information to contact Agt. Ben Hitesman.
